This hotel sucks!! I got here and my room was a one full size bed smoking when i booked it for two queen size beds!!! We got moved to a better room. When I got ready for bed and pulled the sheets back there was blood on my sheets!! I went to the front desk and told them about it the guy said I'm sorry I will tell my house keeper about it in the morning here is a sheet till morning I'm very sorry ma'am. This is so not right!!
My group and I came in for a night during Ragbrai. The service was good add far as I could tell, I have no complaints. The blue walls were a bit jarring at first, but they're walls. Comfortable beds, great water pressure!
Breakfast was absolutely terrible! No cups of any kind for water in the room (or ice bucket either). No elevator to second floor. Towels barely big enough to dry off with. However, room was clean and bed was comfortable.
I was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews here on Google but my experience for one night here during a work trip was great staff was very friendly the hotel and room wasn't half as bad as people described no the pool is not filled but it's also winter everything else was wonderful no complaints
A fascinating insight into life along I35. While waiting for the receptionist to finish her personal phone call I realized what I was listening to was the summary portion of an escort deal. Apparently her friend, who as also an integral part of the arrangements, was taller than she... The subject did come up. Once she'd wrapped the details of her venereal arrangements she offered up what could only be described as Service With A Grimace demanding a form of payment in lieu of a formal greeting. The rooms were dimly lit and institutional-looking but appeared to be reasonably clean... and the AC worked. The end.
