Decent place across the street from the lake in town. It's an older single-story Americana motel. Other than being very outdated, seriously early 70's outdated, it wasn't horrible. It was fairly clean, stocked well with towels, and we checked the beds for bugs and there was none. I myself would stay here again if looking for a cheap stay.
If you don't mind the musty smell, the traffic, the lack of privacy, small shower stall, it-takes-5-minutes to get hot water flowing, toilet that you have to lift the tank lid and giggle the float, double size bed (ok if you are alone I guess), no parking, it still say stay somewhere else.

It is an old motel and it is not updated so if you are looking for a fresh room you will need to stay elsewhere. If you are looking for a great place to walk to after a concert at the surf and a trip to the bar you can't go wrong! Reasonable rates and there is no charge for the nostalgia. We enjoyed our stay. It was great not needing a designated driver!
