No, this isn't a 5-star hotel. But this is the single best experience I've had at a 2-star hotel. First, their prices are about $50/night better than other AmericInn franchises in the area. Second, and more importantly, I had a great service experience. Limped into Mason City with a broken down moving truck after having other issues on I-90 the day before. Pulled in around 8:30 a.m. on a Sunday and made a reservation as I needed to wait until Monday to get parts. They had a pet friendly room for me at 10:30 a.m., even called to tell me it was available. The housekeeper waited for someone to check out and turned the room right around. No early check-in fees, fantastic service.
Friendly staff and great service, prices are competitive. Would recommend the AmericInn over any other hotel in town.
Awful. Will never stay here again. The staff are all rude and crooked! A lot of the food was expired for breakfast. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Very small hotel. It was nice and quiet. No elevator so had to carry daughter to second floor. They did offer a room on first floor to be fair but it wasn't a king bed. Overall not bad. Breakfast was more on the poor side in my opinion. I will look into a different hotel next time.
